THE GOOD
Not looking too bad here although the Lady behind seems to think I'm pretty funny! |
Entering the Finish shute and happy it was all over |
Looking pretty weird as I approach the finish |
Absolutely Knackered as I cross the finish line |
OMG! |
Here comes old leaning tower of Pisa. Will he topple over before crossing the finish line? |

ReplyDeleteHi guys! Thanks for the interesting post! You should be proud that at 65 you were able to run this marathon! On the technique of course will still have to work, but it can be fixed! I hope you followed proper nutrition before the marathon? Because the right diet before such an event is quite important. Me and my nutritionist use the Nutri-IQ platform (https://www.nutrii.ca/), because it has a lot of useful and interesting information to use. Have you heard anything about it?
ReplyDeleteThis was no marathon, which is 42.2km. This was just a 10km fun run. Although I did run a sub-three hour marathon in 1985. No nutritionist involved, just Australian champion Robert de Castella’s book on marathon running.
